Cooking rijstaffel for 17 on Friday (actually, Thursday and Friday, as some dishes must be made ahead to give them time to absorb flavour). Got supplies today (at Superstore, which is a damned intimidating experience) and just shopping for this ordeal exhausted me. I look forward to the actual preparation with so much glee it's making me sarcastic. But we've got a durian (Indonesian fruit much resembling a very large hedgehog- I imagine that if it came with instructions, they ought to begin something like "Step one: cleave in two with machete. Step two: hold rag to face to protect from stench.")!

Realised I left my yoga kit out of the load of laundry I just ran. D'oh.
