Happy Birthday Claire
Claire turned 20 today. I continue to be amazed by her intellect and her talent, impressed by her increasing maturity and self-reliance. She has witnessed and tolerated my ups and downs for the last year. I love her dearly.

Happy birthday, Claire. I remember twenty. Living in a closet. Eating fried rice every day. Afraid of broccoli. Approaching the statute of limitations on virginity. Twenty-two was better. I had overcome my fear of broccoli by then.
